Pritom Chowdhury is the Research and Development Engineer of TSI (Technology for Social Impact). He has served Grameen Intel as an Electrical and Electronics Engineer for more than two years and later joined as Research and Development Engineer and since been working in core research team. Pritom Chowdhury believes that a person with a sound sense of technological innovations along with good leadership skills can bring revolutionary changes to the society. Pritom has always been a leader in different communities he has worked with. He has been a Microsoft Student Partner at his undergraduate level of study. He has also led some other communities and attended a number of international summits of the world leaders. He has two published research papers in the international conferences sponsored by IEEE. His core research area is focused on relating technological advances to social aspects. Some of the projects he has worked on are: Thought controlled wheelchair, Sign language translator, speech recognition based surveillance robot are some of them. He has also won several national level project based competitions.
Pritom’s likes/interests are: Machine Learning, AI, Biomedical Engineering, Entrepreneurship and Music.
Before joining the TSI, Pritom worked as a Research Associate at the Product, Development and Research department at Pi Labs Bangladesh Limited. Pritom graduated from the department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering from BRAC University in 2015.
