Why a new brand?
Grameen Intel Social Business was established in 2009 with the joint collaboration between Intel Corporation and Grameen Trust. The main goal was to solve social problems with the help of information technology at affordable prices. As we gained experience over time, we realized that a new brand identity is required for better reflection of our work instead of referencing to our parent brands. Additionally we would like be sustainable as a stand-alone company.
To that end we have decided to come up with a fresh and new identity and representing us with a new brand name TSI (Technology for Social Impact).
